My career path includes serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Rural Guatemala, directing a nonprofit program for the Mexican community in Southern California, managing projects and conducting survey research in Central and South America with TechnoServe, an international development organization that works with small farmers in Latin America, developing websites and web applications for SRA and Sallie Mae, and managing Sprint Nextel’s Hispanic website team.

I have a Certificate in Business Programming from the Chubb Institute, an M.A. in International Public Administration and Advanced Spanish from the Monterey Institute of International studies, and a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from California State University, Long Beach, and am fluent in English and Spanish with strong writing, editing and translating skills in both.
